Creating your account
Sign up and get your Senior Support Resources account ready in under two minutes.
How to sign up
Visit the Senior Support Resources home page and click "Get Started." Enter your email address and choose a secure password. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your address. Click the verification link in that email to activate your account. If you do not see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. The verification link expires after 24 hours, so try to confirm promptly.
Choosing your role
During onboarding, you will be asked how you plan to use the app. Choose "I'm caring for a loved one" if you are a family caregiver, whether you are an adult child, spouse, sibling, or friend providing care. Choose "I'm managing my own care" if you are a senior setting things up for yourself. This selection adjusts the language, layout, and features throughout the app. For example, self-managing users see larger text, simplified navigation, and first-person language like "my medications" instead of "their medications." You can change this selection later in Settings without losing any data.
Your first steps after signing up
Once your account is created, the guided setup walks you through three key steps. First, you will create a care circle, which is the shared space where your family coordinates care. Second, you will add basic information about the care recipient: their name, age, primary health conditions, and zip code. Third, you will have the option to invite other family members to join the circle. The whole process takes about three minutes. You can skip any step you are not sure about and come back to it later from the dashboard.
Tips for getting started
Use an email address you check regularly, since that is where notifications, alerts, and care reports are delivered. If multiple family members will be using Senior Support Resources, each person needs their own account with their own email address. One person creates the care circle and invites the others. You do not need to enter all the care information at once. Start with the basics and add details over time. The more information you provide in the care profile, the more personalized and useful the app becomes, but even a name and zip code is enough to get started.
