Understanding the dashboard
Your command center shows everything that matters today at a glance.
What the dashboard shows
The dashboard is your daily starting point. It shows: medications due today and whether they have been marked as taken, upcoming appointments with preparation links, pending tasks assigned to you, recent visit logs from other family members, and any alerts that need attention. Everything is prioritized so the most important items appear at the top. The Morning Briefing widget provides a personalized summary of what matters most today, including weather alerts relevant to your loved one's safety.
Alerts and notifications
The alerts section at the top highlights anything urgent: missed medications, drug interaction warnings, overdue tasks, concerning check-in responses, or pattern alerts detected by the system. For example, if the app notices declining weight trends or missed medication patterns, it surfaces an alert. Address these first. Alerts remain visible until you acknowledge them, so nothing slips through the cracks even if you are busy when they first appear.
Quick actions
Use the quick action buttons to log a visit, add a medication, create a task, or start a Smart Helper session without navigating away from the dashboard. The Quick Log feature lets you record a brief observation in seconds, which is perfect for noting something quickly between other activities. These shortcuts save significant time when you need to capture information in the moment rather than navigating through multiple screens.
Emergency information
The emergency info card provides instant access to critical details: primary doctor name and phone number, pharmacy, emergency contacts, known allergies, current medications, and insurance information. This is designed to be useful in urgent situations when you need facts fast, whether you are with the care recipient during an emergency or relaying information to a 911 dispatcher. You can also generate a shareable emergency link that gives hospital staff temporary access to essential care information without needing an account.
Personalizing your dashboard
The dashboard becomes more useful as you add data. Start by entering medications, upcoming appointments, and a few tasks. Within a day or two, the dashboard will reflect your actual care situation. The proactive suggestions widget surfaces timely recommendations based on the care profile, such as flu shot reminders, benefit enrollment deadlines, or seasonal safety tips. Check the dashboard at the start of each day to see what needs attention and plan your caregiving activities accordingly.
